What Twitter is to me

I'm no celebrity. And from what I constantly read and hear about many screwed-up, stressed out "luminaries", who wants to be? A private, (mostly) normal life seems better.

So this person's comment about the strangely popular Twitter service really sums it up well, for me (also). Maybe one of your messed-up celebrities might be slightly interesting - in a gawking way - to follow (into the bathroom, etc.), but otherwise:

"50 million tweets per day

Noise should never be confused with information just as change is not always progress!

Do I care that you have a new picture of your cat or have arrived home? - Don't think so!"


The really bad thing is that some Twit devotees are breathlessly updating (their drivel) live... while they stray into your lane with their hulking SUV....
